Reducing Stress - Finding Peace
7.30-9pm. Thursday 23rd October.
Content: A unique opportunity to hear and discover simpler methods to reduce stress and find peace. The practise of meditation reveals a journey into our own mind where we can find stillness, contentment and satisfaction. By controlling negative states of mind and cultivating positive states we can experience deeper and deeper levels of happiness and gradually find our problems dissolving away. Following the free talk there will be opportunities to ask questions.
A buffet and refreshments will also be provided.
Everybody is welcome.
Teacher: Kelsang Lobon is an English Buddhist monk. Experienced meditation practitioner and teacher within the Kadampa tradition. Local to the area he is able to explain clearly and with
humour, how we can be happy in this difficult and increasingly stressful world.
